I want some style in my room!?
Bed rooms are supposed to be a getaway and a place where I am proud to stay in, right? I have a lot of problems with my bedroom, and I don’t know how to fix them.
First of all, I have a small budget. So I need some low cost ideas.
My room is light pink walls and black shelves that go from the floor to the ceiling on either side of my window. It takes up an entire wall. I have a beautiful white, black, and dark pink bedspread with a chandelier design on it. I have brown closet doors, brown dresser, and an old table with a white cloth on it. Not to mention a blanket rack and a big drawing board that are taking up space.
My first big problem is not knowing where to set things and what things to set. My shelves are huge, but they look bad with the things on them that I have. I don’t really have enough things to match and make it look sophisticated. All I want are some possible ideas of wall art, or things to put on shelves that look well and take up space, but not too much.
roll up your selves n get some paint – decide on black or brown for your shelving, closet doors, dressers, etc — getting them all one color will help on the coordination.
start shopping thrift stores, yard sales n clearance sections for boxes, baskets, even check out the handbags, don’t forget to look for picture frames, – don’t worry about the colors spray paint works great. this shud help with making your shelves look nice n your artwork look coordinated.
for artwork consider using a fabric print – check out remant pieces, napkins or placements to frame.
