Lights Don’t work?
Switchd on my lights in my kitchen, they blew. All the lights in the house went out.
I switched back on the trip-switch and they all came back on, all apart the lights in the kitchen, I changed the bulbs and nothing. I have noticed that there are some ceiling spot lights and they don’t work either. Any ideas….
You said all the lights in the house went out so it sounds like you tripped the main breaker, so you turned it back on. This fixed most of the problems however there is still one circuit out. Try checking all the breakers in the circuit breaker box and see if any others are tripped. You have to jiggle them a bit to really know, sometimes they flip only half way off. Turn the tripped breaker off then back on and see if this fixes your problem. It is also possible there is a GFCI outlet in the circuit somewhere. Look at the outlets in the kitchen and see if any of them have a Test and a Reset bottom on them. If so, push the Reset button (have to push it clear in) and see if that fixes the problem. Also check other rooms (especially bathrooms) for the same. I would be concerned though if I tripped the main breaker.
