Install a ceiling fan with lighting and controls both on the wall?
I am replacing a ceiling fan with old lamp with a ceiling fan with new lamp. I removed the existing fan of my roof that has a lamp, the fan is controlled by a switch on the wall and covered a fixture with a dimmer on the wall next to the lid switch. Unfortunately I forgot to look at the wiring configuration when I removed it. What's on my roof is a green ground wire cables and two sets of black and white, there is no common thread. I discovered this game go black and white wall switch, how do I connect the fixture with the remaining white and black son? woodtick314 I suggested wiring … and I think this is correct. However, attempts I think there may be earlier wall switch plate, so I Lowes will have to go and get another before we can say that I managed to solve this.
Connect all the white son together. Connect the wire Dark blue wire of the fan. The black goes to black on the other fan. Connect the ground and you're all set. I hope this helps.
